Hi! New to vintage, and a question about quad cap(like the one selling on AES). The cap has a label saying 80/40/20/20 with 80 as half circle symbol,40 as square, 20 as triangle, and the remaining 20 as "dash lines". Which one is the ground? If I want to parallel a cap to increase the last 20uF, do I connect it to the "dash line" for + and chassis for ground?
Thanks!
Abe

The 80/40/30/20 you are looking at is a fine cap however,it may not be your best option.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.
I got it Mike! Already installed and will test soon. It's for a small 6V6 console amp. Thanks!
Abe
The outer case of the cap is the ground. The four tabs at the bottom of the case that attach it to the chassis is generally where the power supply ground is connected. You are correct on how to parallel another cap for more uf.
: )
Ya' gotta get up to get down!
