Thanks. Does the Seas tweeter go low enough forth A-35 crossover, which I think is a little lower than the A-25?
The SEAS TBFC/G (metal dome) and TDFC(soft dome)both have high power handling and a 650 Hz resonance, so yes, they will go low enough with just a series cap and either an L-pad or series R - as long as you don't try to blow out the windows. A tweeter with a 1 kHz resonance won't work well in that application. The MDT20 has a 650 Hz resonance and I'm using a pair of those in my KLH 17's with a 1500 Hz cross point. They work quite well with just an L-pad and a 10 uF series cap. )the cap comes first and then the L-pad nearest the tweeter.

Thanks again. It sounds like you would recommend going with the new Seas and using it with the existing Morel rather than getting matching older stock Seas, right?
Hi Tadlo, I hope this will help you. This is my first try at using the optional link URL. I hope I got it right.1973 Shovel gave me a new lesson. Can you tell me if it goes thru....Mark K.
That's a LOT of resistance to put in series with the tweeter. It will have the effect of raising the top end of the tweeter's response; but a better tweeter with an more 4extended top end is a better way to do it. Really good tweeters were just not available in the late 60's or very early 70's. I did find the New Advent tweeter (late 1977 and later) to be as good as the latest SEAS models.
