like or agree on everything!Over the last several years my hearing has been getting worse in what frequncies I can and can not hear at all anymore!I have major dips or almost a complete loss of several frequncies across the spectrum, but mostly in the highs. My Doctor said a hearing aid would not help much.
so for the last year or so a good friend of mine has been readjusting my stereo equipment so it can sound the best that it can.(my settings were way off to the point of ear bleeding levels as he put it!) The XP line of speakers that I have sound the most balanced to my ears!I can once again for the most part not just listen to my music for a little while, but instead really enjoy it for hours of non fatigue listening, without seeming like something is missing! If you can think of other speakers that I might benefit from please chime in!I'll even try and post my hear loss chart if that would help folks out.

Sorry to hear about your hearing losses. Are the losses attributable to your exposure in workplaces, hifi, or genetic causes? I operated a jet engine powered power station in the military but always wore ear protection. Some of my fellow veterans from that time have been suffering from hearing losses. I don't know if it was because of them not wearing protective gear or what. I know that with age, some hearing loss is unavoidable.
From what I know there were not others in my family with hearing problems.
I believe mine are do to always wanting to be the closest to where the music was coming from! When I was a kid we went to a lot of Polish Weddings
where for 3 days you celebrated by drinking & lots of live Polka Music!
When I was not dancing I would be sitting as close to the band as I could
enjoying the great music! When I was old enough to hang out at the bar I would do the same when live bands performed! In short I damaged my own hearing by exsposing my ears to loud music over the years, without ever thinking about protecting my ears! Was not a headbanger or a groupee so to speak,I just always liked being near where the music was coming from!Silly I know and now I wish I would have taken better care of my ears!I am just thankfull now that I can still hear what I do and that the XP line of speakers seem to work for me!That is why I wanted opinions from others about these line of speakers.Heres my favorite XP speaker so far!
