Steve
I assure you that Jerry has no connection to any of these sellers and I've rebuilt a few pieces for him and he actually told me about this Mx110 and Mc240.He had found me pair of Dukanes for 100 a dollars.
He told me about about these pieces first and God knows I didn't need them so I told him maybe someone might want them.

...Essentially an eBay price. Apparently Craigslist is no longer a place for "bottom feeders" looking for a killer bargain so it can be flipped on eBay at high profit.
I hear ya.That is definitely Ebay prices and maybe more..They are clean if you live where you or I live and were looking for one,you can see what your buying.Look what happened with the Marantz 8b amps..They were 750 to 1100 dollars from 2001 to 2005 and now they are like three times that.I never dreamed they would go up that high that quick.

I E-mailed a guy abut a Mac Amp that he listed for $2,000. I asked him if it had issues. Yea, power switch doesn't work (he runs his power cord it thru his pre and turns it on and off tat way) and it has bubbles under the glass. E-Bay price is +-$2,200 in good (no issues) condition.
The bitch of the bunch tho is an ad running for two Enery Veritas speakers that can be had for $500 each at Amazon. He's asking, used condition mind you, $3,200 for the pair. Plus his have several "cheaps" (as he calls them) on them. Sighhhhh

If they are the preamp & amp combination you've always wanted, they are as nice of condition as they appear in the pics, you can pick them up in person, and you can get the guy to give a little on the price, I'd say it's worth investigating. But I assume $3,000 to $3,500 is not the final price. If they are stock, one is still going to have to upgrade both units, which is not going to be inexpensive if you do it right.
I agree
They are very nice and you can at least see what you are buying with these.
You found me a few great deals already on amps.
