Can you imagine the factory with workers placing components and making all of the point to point solder connections?That would take a lot of quality control training.I give them credit for turning out good products 50 years ago with so many opportunities for mistakes.
That particular amp was a kit. You can tell because the relatively few factory built Citation IIs had rivets holding most things together, not the screws seen on that amp.
Also, I know the tubes have significant value, but that's an awful lot to pay for an amp that will need TOTAL rebuilding. It's 50+ years old!
They are awfully nice amps, no doubt, and all you need is a decent core to make them great again!!
