I have a set of 9s here at my house for an indefinite amount of time and was wondeing what speakers would be a good match that are at least smaller than Cornwalls?? Any ideas?
Follow Ups:
Since you mentioned Cornwalls, I'd suggest setting the 9s to triode and trying them with Cornwalls. The speakers do not need the 70 watts
in triode mode the 9s are one of the best out there. From experience the pair are truly magical. I used both with a Marantz 7 and a ARC SP-3a1.
The amps also are exceptional with a set of QUAD ESLs and ESL63s, KLH Nines, Koss Model One, and Martin Logan CLs. Yeah all electrostatics.
One a more common not, early Wharfedales, Tannoy and Lowther driver based systems. While how size is measured, the JBL Paragon and ALTEC VOTT also have synergy.
If you could go big, the E-V 30W coupled with a Jensen 610 but then you will likely become a single person.

I would definitely not be able to do 30W with G610s and I would like to keep the cost under 600 bucks. I have a friend that wholesales vintage speakers to me so I can usually get stuff at half the price of ebay prices anyway. I was thinking KLH 6s or maybe Cornwalls if I can find them cheap enough.
While the KLH Six is a nice speaker; it will be the weaker component by far if mated to the 9s; Maybe the Twelves or Ones with the JansZen array or even the KLH array made fore the Ones but these would be about as easy to find as dentures for hen's teeth. The JansZens were what KLH originally designed the Ones to go with.

Are they VACs or real? I have a real pair I was given years ago and I put them away after I recapped them with orange drops about 15 years ago.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.
They are both from 1966. Close serial numbers too. All I have for speakers is a pair of EV Marquis with Wolverine 12s and Crites T35s (or whatever they are called). I would like to have something that I could crank the amps with without blowing the woofers.
Any speakers will do...Ive used them from the most inefficient to highy efficient..
