airtime, I was looking at the pictures trying to see where Mike put the 35uF poly cap but can't see where it is in the pics.
Did he use 35uF poly cap in this rebuilt?
Please let me know where it was placed because looking at my unit there seem to be no more space for an extra cap. thanks, jimmy
Follow Ups:
The three black muse caps underneath that are mounted on a terminal strip covers the bottom connections of the poly which is the gray unlytic off to the right next to the selenium..Always leave the selenium in and use it to mount the Uf4007s on as it makes a good mount.
Now,notice that I have put the 35uf@500v unlytic in place of where the pos ground DC filament cap and bias cap used to be mounted.

You did fine.The black caps you see are the Mundorfs.I just had the labels facing down but you will see them if you pull the bottom off and look at the other side of them.
Honest amplification is better than excessive 2nd order distortion anytime.
