You've just gotta know where to look.
I.e., look at page 29 of the Allied catalog scan at the link below... and you'll know all that I know about that (very interesting looking) receiver! :-)

UNFORTUNATELY, although there are copious legacy EV and related company (including University Sound) manuals and documentation at EV's website, I don't see this particular receiver there. That said, the rather... idiosyncratic... organization of materials at EV's 'discontinued product downloads' site may make it worth your perusal! Here's the link:

thanks for the info. I didn't think of Allied. Looking through the catalog was great. I'm 57 and remember that stuff as a kid. Got my first cb in 1971 (a Lafayette HE 20T) and always wanted a nice stereo but never could afford it. Looking back at the prices I can see why! I'm surprised anyone could afford that stuff back then. It was built well. At least now I can have some of the stuff I wished I had back then!
