... it looks like a fairly motley collection of stuff at mostly high to exorbitant prices. While some equipment is new, a fair amount is used. The used stuff is cheap-er, but not exactly inexpensive.
The most interesting stuff I saw was a Nakamichi 600 deck and 610 preamp... but they were pretty pricey...
Caveat emptor, I'd say.

I am still curious... Some staff like JVC-Z1010 TN CDP and a Pioneer SA-8100 integrated amplifier is interesting but I am wondering if the whole story is real...
I do not know the seller but some time ago there was discovered a treasure trove of nos product at an old dealer in I think Oshawa ON. Not sure of the history. Some one made some deal with the guy and was selling the inventory several pieces at a time on eBay for prices that were definitely at a premium but he showed the sealed boxes and then after opeing the top showing they were in original wrapping and some were noted as repacks and others as demos but, with boxes so, he seemed honest. There those around here who apparently know of the dealer and his hoard and had tried to buy something from him but with no result.
More recently a dealer in downtown Toronto closed after several generations. I had never been in the store but other had and mentioned he also had a hoard of nos vintage units just hanging around but his clients were looking for newer technology and he sold few of these old undesirable pieces. Never heard what happened to the remaining inventory.
Back in the early '90s I was in Boston for a conference and as usual flipped through the phone book at audio stores. I saw one I knew as a kid was a long established and well respected store. In the ad there was listed a number of manufacturers no longer in existence. After getting home, one a whim, I called the store to inquire about the ad and the of of business listings. Turned out he had a bunch of old stock in the warehouse he was clearing out. I cut a deal with him and bought all the remaining Dynaco stock except the speakers that his employees had already put first dibs on. He had a list of other old stock from other companies but most had been sold after discovering the inventory and bringing it up for some sale he held. Seemed no one wanted the old DYNA as he had quite an inventory including tube and ss both in kit and factory assembled for. I ended up with quite a collection for some years until a nut wanted it so bad he and I cut a deal.
Somewhere in Bogen International's warehouse are cases of new R.T. Bozak and N.E.A.R. drivers and finished product. When Bogen shut down N.E.A.R., Bogen bulk boxed all the inventory and put it along with a warehouse full of old Bogen parts and product; never cataloging what boxes contained what nor where the boxes were in the warehouse. I had traced the inventory to the warehouse but Bogen could not figure out how to pull the inventory or even locate the boxes and the investors I represented finally pulled the plug. Per the warehouse manager, the warehouse had product going back to the beginning of time but no one knew what all the stuff was nor where anything was and the space was thousands of square feet. Maybe one day Bogen will open the doors and someone will be able to buy the lot and the market will get flooded with vintage Bogen, Bozak and N.E.A.R. product.

I'm not "logging in" to find out.
Just did...
