Hey Mark,
What's up with that Crown gear? My IC150A was like fingernails on a blackboard. I have read that you can change the IC chips and get a good sound out of them. Have you done anything with them?

The power amp isn't bad, actually.
I really haven't invested much time nor effort into the preamp save to determine that it does indeed work (like vampires, I believe the IC-150 preamps are very difficult to kill).

I'll bet the both work, although be carful with the amp. They had a reputation for frying speakers when they did go! They are really built! You might want to look into chip upgrades. Those sow's ears could become silk purses!
