Hi, I am finally getting around to messing with a set of A25's and I have access to both a set Morel MDT-20's and Seas 27TFFC/H881 tweeters but I don't know where it's best to cross them over with the original woofer running wide open for best sound. I can also add a coil if needed. Anyway, the currently installed 5.2uf may or may not result in a crossover point too high. Thanks.

It's pretty flexible and forgiving at that crossover point. You can use anything from a 8-10uf cap. So use the 5.2uf cap until you can order another.
If you are using a crossover calculator, the roll off is different, depending on the tweeters FR curve. You will hear different ranges using the same cap with different tweeters. Depending on the range of the tweeter.
You can also try using a 0.8mH coil on the woofer. But I prefer it open as well.
And in place of using resistors, try using a LPad attenuator. You can fine tune quicker.

Charles, thank you for the response. I actually have some 8ohm lpads around which I'm guessing would work better with the Morels.
For the 6ohm Seas maybe I could leave the 10ohm resistor and wire a lpad like the below but in the tweeter's ground removing the stock switch/2ohm resistors. It would give me up to 8ohms of play to get the level right.http://imageshack.com/a/img801/9150/bie0.gif
Thanks again for the help/advice. This is interesting stuff.

You can use the LPad with either the Morel or the Seas.
I've used both extensively. And both are sound great! If I had to choose I would take the Seas over the Morel. But that's like asking what color you want that Ferrari in?

I wasn't sure if the fact that the Morel was 8ohms and went a bit lower put it ahead of the Seas using it in a A25. Are there any negatives in using the 8ohm Variable Lpad with the 6ohm Seas? How hard do you find it to dail in the right amount of level and are there any tricks to doing so? Thanks again for all your help. I really appreciate it.
There is no problem using the Lpad on either. Actually is it quite easy to adjust both speakers using the Lpad.
Just face both speakers towards you a few feet away, sit/stand in between them and adjust by ear.
Yes, it's that simple!

Okay great. I found some 3.3uf and 10uf caps around so I can go either 8.2 or 10uf. Thanks again for enduring all my endless questions.
