the MG-IB are pretty old but once working correctly they can really sing. I've listened to many different Magneplanar models and there are few that have the mid range of the older MG-I/MG-II/... versions. The guys over on the planar asylum will have everything you need (how to fix the tweeters, crossover updates, better frame bracing, ...).

Depending on your musical tastes, these might be your favorite speaker.
