The price isn't out of line - SCA-35's have been going for about $180 depending on condition on ebay - with shipping, one at that price could easily top $200.
They've got the excellent Z-565 OPT's in them, and fit a tube integrated into a fairly compact package. Sounds like a reasonable deal to me.
I pulled out the HF-81 (which does sound better) in hopes of finally isolating/fixing the nagging hum it has.
The SCA-35 sounds good enough, though, that I haven't been in a hurry to find the HF-81's hum :-P
