you may not believe this. I use a circular, table or radial saw with a normal 40-60 tooth carbide blade. cuts like butter. I have cut 2" stock - slowly.

Follow Ups:
I do the same. I bought a special Craftsman 60 tooth carbide blade made especially for laminates and aluminum. Works better with some sort of lubrication. I usually spray on lots of WD-40 while cutting.
