Using an Enacom noise sniffer, I calibrated a stock wall plug to 100%.
With the Cullen perfect plug, the reading on the Enacom came down to 11%, but fluctuated between 8% and 14% depending on what day I measured it.
Installed the MIT Z-duplex inplace of the Cullen and it was about the same.
They both seem to do the same amount of noise reduction, with the Cullen about 1/3 the price.
Now I might try putting the Cullen into my AC conditioner to see if the
reduction goes lower with both in series.
As far as sound quality goes, I couldn't discern any difference. As a side note, with either plug I could raise the sensitivity by turning up the calibration knob on the Enacom and still hear the same noise, hiss and a radio station. so the noise was still there, just several Db down.

As I've learned from my mentors " Duster " and " Mike " ( owner of the Audio Shark Forum ) on matters relating to AC Outlets and Noise Filtration Devices. Like you I've tried the MIT Z Duplex Super outlet as well as both the Oyaide R0 and R1 models, and having measured them both and finding their reading at around 0.001%, I decided to stick with them both as both are extremely well built, as well as lowered said noises as police calls, EMI | RFI | radio station broadcast | EMS calls and so on.
Which trying various noise filtering devices like the AudioPrism QuietLine | PS Audio Noise Harvester placed into my power line distributor, in the meantime a dealer buddy mentioned that I've to use between 10 - 12 of these devices throughout our home to minimize said effects from reaching the system, in the end all was resolved by merely placing a single IsoTek Evo 3 Neoplug onto said distributor and watched the noise floor drop to above the same level as the AC Outlets.
After having installed another two of them into opposite facing outlets, everything became even more organic sounding as well as offering much more blackness to the background as it relates to soundstage, and even had an uncanny way of producing layers and layers of hidden musical nuances that were obviously underpinning the notes themselves.
All this to say what?........., while many go on and on about the possible benefits of owning a power conditioner, very few if any discuss the advantages of investing in a few noise filters placed just so on ones power lines or distributors themselves, clean power is one thing.........., but a cleaner signal with less noise through these devices it vital.
A tad off track, but still relevant to your post none the least.
I guess I should mention both the Cullen and the MIT Z-duplex appear to
be regular hubble(?) outlets, but they have a box mounted to the back.
I don't believe any of the Oyaide or Furutech do.
That's correct, neither the Furutech or Oyaide AC Outlets have noise filter boxes attached to them, I believe their sense of lower floor comes from the fact they both use better internal parts as well as overall superior construction.
My point was, one should add said devices like the QuietLines and Noise Harvesters onto their power line conditions as well as power distributors, as the extra sense of refinement and unraveling of hidden nuances are mind boggling.
