I installed the SS Cone/Spike Decoupling Gliders and had similar results. I have hardwood/suspended floors and have noticed bit more definition and width, subtle but obvious, especially at lower volumes. As an added bonus, they make it easy to slide the speakers around.

Do you have any issues with the speakers moving around on their own from vibration? I'm on a suspended hardwood floor too, and while I've been intrigued with these (I have lots of other Herbie ware), I was concerned the speakers would slowly migrate elsewhere, even if only a little that would affect toe-in, etc. What's your experience been?
I have the gliders over a suspended wood floor. No "moving around' that I can detect. It's a beautiful thing, however, to be able to easily move the speakers around for a variety of reasons related to how we use the room.
