Thanks Alan. I'll install the outlet this weekend, and report back how everything works out.
Nice pic! how does it sound now?
Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. Just installed the Furutech outlet (I'll post impressions on that shortly), and wanted to get familiar with that change before I tried the cord. It's fully cooked, just waiting for me to get my act together. :)
....give the cables (and now the outlet) a few hours of settling-in time before doing any serious listening. The Cooker's output signal is very strong. This is advice I give to everyone.
"uncle" alan
When I said "waiting for me to get my act together" what I really meant was "waiting for the cord to settle after cooking."
:)
That means your act is already together! Thanks, Bill.
Too many people have expectations of immediate sonic nirvana....there are still some minor ups & downs within the conditioning process post-Cooking. I try to keep things realistic for everyone. It's all about the learning curve with each design and product (be it cables, outlets, line conditioners, etc. etc.). If people are patient, sonic nirvana will arrive.
