What manufacturer makes V-Cap teflons?
TIA,

I am having deja vu, or something. This is definitely the second time I have seen this question posted, and last time I remarked that they LOOK like they may emanate from the same source as Auricaps, just based on physical features like the red and green leads and the green and black "capping" at each end.
There are several companies in the US that make custom order caps. I spoke with one many years ago and he indicated he could do teflons up to 2 uf size. I think they offered their own passive based AC filter for a period also. Usually there is a non disclosure agreement that customers ask for.
VH Audio.
See link:
VH has his own cap factory??
Just like Synergistic, Purist, and nearly all of the rest do not make wire.
I highly doubt V-cap manufactures these caps. They commission the manufacturing to someone like American Capacitor Manufacturing to build to spec.
I read somewhere where a reviewer thought they were made but I can't recall where and it was speculation anyway. Vehnaus wouldn't disclose it anyway.
As Mike B mentioned, a non-disclosure agreement will likely keep the hands-on manufacturer of VH Audio's V-Cap products confidential.
