It seems like a well engineered player but that doesn't necessarily mean it will sound great.
Others suggestions are good.
FWIW, I always start by finding a player with a high resolution, current output DAC. That way, I can dump all the SS garbage in the output stage and tack on high quality audio transformers to convert the current output to line level voltage signals. I like the results.

of using high performance transformers in the IV and output sections of CD players and it makes a huge difference in sound.
I will be looking into that once I receive my Pioneer Elite PD-59. with it's stable platter design and with possibly that transformer upgrade should make it something special.
Keep me posted guys. I am always interested in reading about those who "mod" cd/sacd spinners.
