I got the free samples when they first came out. I tried them on interconnects and speaker cables. Didn't notice much if any improvement. I understand Mad Scientist has increased the substance inside the tube since then which might yield more improvement. There might be other locations that benefit from them I didn't get around to try also.

Thanks....I have the free sample....I felt it was a very mild improvement after spending hours finding that effective place. I also have some discs discs that I'll move around. I just got new speaker cables that is bringing out things I never heard before, so I'm experimenting for an even greater lift.
For an even greater lift make sure they are lifted off the floor!
I felt it was a very mild improvement after spending hours finding that effective placeMy experience too was that the freebie disks made little difference, if any, when used as you describe. They were far more effective configured as a rudimentary power cord - see link for details.

Ryelands....actually no matter where I applied the cupcake-like discs, they slightly removed upper frequencies, and kind of slowed down the presentation. Ultimately I had to remove them. The tubes are a bit more effective when used on the output of the preamp to the power amp, but I haven't settled in to the effect that it does have. Sometimes I think it beneficial, sometimes not....the effect is subtle anyway.
