Vishay-Dale are a big company. They make all sorts of electronic parts, including those nude resistors, but not every single thing they make is an attempt at state of the art, notwithstanding those resistors. Anyway, I am sure those are fine diodes.

To bad nude is so hard to afford.
Yep, they're expensive at about $10 each from an on-line source, but I would sooner spend my money on nude Vishay resistors than on bags of colorful crystals.
There are a lot of people out there who would agree with you on that. Some dead. One reason Schottkys do or may sound better is from what I read there is nothing to recover from softly or otherwise. One person with lots of opinions and confidence tells me its the soft recovery that's important and uses the sr diodes. Sure sounds like nothing to recover from might be better. My worries about voltage and overheating of Schottkys are over, I think. On Semiconductor has 10A 200v Schottky and Mic has 10a 1000v. They likely should never see more than 31 volts. Tweaker
