For over half a year , well maybe closer to a year I have been drilling been drilling out the smaller discus and placing them on the the nine/seven pin tube tops.
As reported earlier they work superbly, although I prefer to use a pair of MSA kegs in lieu of the toppers. They add sonic dimensionality, and sense of quietness and much better dynamics. This similar to installing the kegs on the B+ power lines.
Secret is not a big one, MSA is manipulating the EMI fields, and you can see this by holding up a magnet to the device, Of course fine details are not released but you can carry on from there
Follow Ups:
Surprised to hear that you prefer Kegs instead of Tube Toppers. The reason being that we've never sent you any tube toppers, or to anyone in Hawaii even. They've only been out 3 weeks so I really doubt that you have tried them.
I think if you'll read again, Stu was saying he'd tried using black discus as toppers (spelled with small T).
