I have tried these caps in me pre amp at .47uf 400v and amp at 1uf 400v. In both cases they did not sound as good as I had hoped. They are the most rolled off in the treble as I have ever heard. They have a very upfront midrange and the tonal balance was not creating synergy in both the amp and pre amp. The good news is bypassing them makes all the difference. I tried bypassing with Jensen silver foil (very expensive), ERO KP1832, and Russian ft3 with nice effect. If you are against bypassing I would not recommend Duelund RS unless you need the extra mids to balance your system. Speaker use might be a different story as there are glowing reviews online.

Hi!
How much burn in did you give to the duelunds?
I don't know how many hours of burn in. They have been in my pre amp for quite awhile though. The ones in my amp may not have a lot of hours yet. I listen a lot with headphones these days. But bypassing did wonders for both sets. The cast CU really did not change all that much. The differences where subtle. They just got smoother. I know they are different but they sure look the same save for the dielectric.
