That's exactly right...I love that effect as well. If the sound is recorded with the 3D openness that we both like is recorded, the Maestros will let it through. Additionally, I would recommend Magic Tubes..you can get a free pair here http://madscientist-audio.com/presta/

I MEAN IF I PUT A REGULAR CD OR BLURAY WILL I GET A GOOD 3 DIMENTIONAL TYPE SOUND STAGE, INSTEAD OF ONES THAT GIVE VERY LESS SOUNDSTAGE THE MUSIC IS ONLY AROUND THE SPEAKER NO ALL OVER THE ROOM. THANKS
Deepak....to gain focus and a deeper/wider soundstage, you might try re-positioning your loudspeakers. Perhaps they need a bit more toe-in (as just one suggestion). The R-1 does not foreshorten the depth of the soundstage....it increases it front-to-back. What you are experiencing is not "normal" with this outlet, especially for music playback.
I have found over many years that the introduction of a new component, power cable, interconnect, and even a wall outlet changes the "sonic output" and dynamics of the system, which in turn can require the re-positioning of the speakers. In other words, the sonic "envelope" can change, which in turn changes the room acoustic. Therefore, the adjustment of the loudspeakers (even a tiny bit) can address this change for the better.
I have tip toed the speaker there is a difference now. Maybe the receptacle still needs to adjust to my wires from the wall.
Glad you are trying this. Moving your speakers even 1/4" forward will increase the depth of soundstage, moving the speakers slightly wider can enlarge the width of the soundstage, and further adjusting the toe-in (to your ear) will improve the focus and clarity. The R-1 will provide all these things....we just need to optimize our setups from time-to-time.
khullard54,
I hope this will help you.
