Any of you ever used the Bybee Music Rails?
I own a Oppo 83 Nuforce blueray player and was wondering where one would insert these at on this player.
I am a novice to say the least when it comes to DIY tweaking.
Follow Ups:
I Haven't tried it yey, but I am a great admirer of Jack Bybee.
Read the installation instructions and make sure you understand them thoroughly.
I believe they will make the largest difference in the analog power supply.
I believe Jeff Wells uses them in his highly-acclaimed Wells Audio amplifier designs.
Initial offerings invovled some calculations for a resistor to ground (IIRC) which was dependent on the B+ voltage. Last time I took a quick look, the instructions were much more thorough and very well written , leaving no guesswork.
Voltages in a digital player are very low, probably not more than 15 Volts but I have never measured an Oppo. If so the Rail may not need any mods.
