If you dremel off the epoxy and steel leads on the Wimas and attach copper leads using Wonder Solder Signature....you will get better sound. Also you want to orient the cap so the outside foil is to ground. You will need a scope and signal generator to check outside foil.Even better sounding would be to use 3 .33 metalized Wima polyprops in parallel. .33 is the largest value they make in those tiny super sounding jobbies. Again, you want to remove the steel leads and attach copper leads and orient to correct direction. I use the modded Wimas everywhere....really great sounding.
The TDK looks like a stacked foil cap.....these are usually better than the typical rolled caps (all the others in your test) that have epoxy on the end and are more inductive.

After you dremel off the epoxy and steel leads, what do you solder the copper leads too?
Dave
See my website for pics of modding in action: http://www.tweakaudio.com/EVS-2/Modded_Wima_Caps.html
Once the wires are soldered on then I test the cap for polarity and then test it with a cap meter to make sure it works fine.
Thanks!
Dave
I would guess once you determine the outside foil and note the location in relationship to the exterior printing, the rest would be easy to do? True or false?
I am using that one, 1uF/250V.
Very cheap to source here in Europe.
