I use optrix to clean cd's prior to playing them. Has anyone tried different cloths for drying the cd prior to cleaning? I know that ortirix recommends using cheap toilet paper but that method seems to leave micro scratches on the cd. I currently use a microfibre cloth.
Thanks

Micro fiber cloth when cleaning and polishing with Brillianze polish.
How do you use this? I looked around and see that it is a plastic cleaner, but when do you apply it and how ofter? I use a Mapleshade product called Mikrosmooth CD Polishing Kit on my new cds to improve them. But thats a one time deal. I'm interested in how you use BrilliZnce.
Thanks
If the discs are in frequent rotation I use it as I see fit. If playing something that is out of the regular sequence (most of the time) I'll give the disc a quick rub down.
There is a sale going on now see if the link gets you the discount. If not call I'm sure they will give it to you. This goes a long way. I got 2 8 oz. bottles some time ago and still have not touched the second.
As an aside it works well on your TV screen and computer monitor.
Cool! Thanks
