Too many variables to make a conclusion from such a limited number of comparisons. If what you say is true then Fulton Gold cables from 4 decades ago would be the best cable ever. It makes 10 gauge look like 16 gauge.

For all I know that's what Bob Fulton basically did. But at the time it was considered very good. And I used it for years until I noticed green under the insulation.
No, I was a personal friend of Bob Fulton, and a California rep for him.His cables developed out of a contract he obtained to help out the local University's lab, where they were testing baboons with high frequency audio signals. When they upped the frequency to 60 KHZ, all the animals got sick.
Bob found the amps to be OK, but phase had shifted considerably at the end of the speaker wire, where it was attached to the transducer. This resulted ultimately in Fulton Brown and Fulton Gold speaker wire. Robert was a good man!
