Thank you Duster. When power supply arrives and cable plug is modified will report effect on Sirus sound.

I'll keep an eye out for your report.
BTW, the power supply unit is sensitive to the sonic benefit of an aftermarket AC power cord, so you should expect better performance if you mate the power supply unit with an audiophile quality detachable power cord.
Absolutely agree on the power cord importance. Will be trying several brands.
The power supply suggested arrived from mainland China. A nice heavy unit. Duster was correct in that the supplied male plug is to big to fit the Sirrius receiver. I went today to my local professional music store- repair shop (Hubbards Music- Las Cruces, New Mexico). They were kind enough to splice on the original Sirrius male plug to the new cord.
Plugged the new power unit in and turned on the receiver. WOW! A major improvement in all aspects of music reproduction. If you are using a home based Sirrius Receiver this is a great upgrade.
I have ordered a Synergistic Research fuse and will try that next.
Will allow the power supply to be switched on for a week and then try an improved power cord.
Duster - Thank you for giving me the information to transform this system.

Keep us posted - David.
The Sirius Radio power supply has been on nonstop for 5+ days so time to try the next step.
I replaced the 6 amp fuse with a Synergistic Research 6 amp fuse. Impressive improvement. I next replaced the stock power cord with a spare audiophile power cord. A further improvement.
The system now has enough soundstage width and depth to be satisfying. The decrease in grain and "hardness" now makes for an inviting listening experience.
Total out of pocket expense for the power supply - male plug modification - fuse was $130.00
