Finding screws for 91ed to td headshell?

Gone from a piece of fried td147 to near sound nirvana thanks to your help.

Now *only* two screws holding me back - really frustrating. To lessen the period of anxious waiting, does anyone know which screws work (exactly) to set 91ed cartridge into tp16 headshell (mkiii TA, afaik), and where to find them? Standard mount. The tiny grado screws are useless.

I know it's a simple question, but four pages deep into google had me more lost for my first restore project. Attached is a photo of the headshell and the poor guy hanging out in a sound vacuum.

I bit the bullet on a jico needle, hope it's worth the talk. -pete

2-56 is another size that is used. It looks like length is critical as well as I don't see holes in the topside of the headshell. So the underside screw holes are threaded then? Wait let me check VE.............

OK found it on the VE SM parts list. It is metric: M2X5

You have a few options-
there are fine screws for uses other than audio -
I do not know the thread for the cartridge in the picture - but you may be able to find a thread that will fit through the existing holes -
one of the more common small diameter machine screws is 4-40, #4 diameter (0.1120" max OD) at 40 threads per inch, and there are others - including metric fasteners.

You might try one of the on-line houses (Needle Dr., Music Direct, etc. ) and see what they have for generic mounting hardware - or universal mounting hardware...
