A cheap cd demagnetizer as good as hifi tuning ones!
Very good product!!!
work on the same principles. Cheapest way to access one: search Ebay for tape erasers. I use a Geneva brand ( discontinued) 2800 gauss hand held machine. Works well for CD's , LP's, LP platters, and weights, etc.
I can degauss a CD without taking it out of the case ( as well as LP's)
Good idea Stu,
It sould be very usefull to degaus cables too!
You can hear the effect but it is not permananent, in fact I can hear the effect fading within 3 to 5 minutes
