hi,
I'll try one with water base and add a little hydrogen peroxide. Both are antistatic. I use hydrogen peroxide to treat plastic envelop of cables for example and it works fine even alone on cd's.
But take care of your fingers it'll burn them a little bit: they will turn to white! Use gloves!

Are you using 3% hydrogen peroxide or stronger ?

Wherever you go there you are.
That can be stronger... Don't remember how much but you should have an effect with 3%
very effective one which can be replace by fixing a cd on a drill...
I have one and love it for how it improved the sound of my CD's~D
