Hi James,
With what kind of wax? beewax??? Beewax+Carnauba???
Follow Ups:
no NOT Bee's Wax you need a wax that sets up on the fast side. Clear floor paste wax is great not it never looks clear as in water clear it is cloudy and opaque. The wax will fill any small micro fissures on the surface and premit light transmission where the scratch might have diffracted the laser light. Juat as in the movie "wax on - wax off" just a thin layer on leave a couple of minutes and buff off. If you leave it any longer you will have a hard time buffing it to a clear shine.
DO NOT USE CARNAUBA WAX. It is way to hard and sets up too fast and is very difficult to buff to a shine.

hi,
I'll try one with water base and add a little hydrogen peroxide. Both are antistatic. I use hydrogen peroxide to treat plastic envelop of cables for example and it works fine even alone on cd's.
But take care of your fingers it'll burn them a little bit: they will turn to white! Use gloves!

Are you using 3% hydrogen peroxide or stronger ?
~D
Wherever you go there you are.
That can be stronger... Don't remember how much but you should have an effect with 3%
very effective one which can be replace by fixing a cd on a drill...
I have one and love it for how it improved the sound of my CD's~D
