No carbon fiber but a mix of copper and nickel
As we can know of the experiments of unclestu the good shielding is realised when carbon, copper and nickel are layered together.
With this product carbon can be add by a coating of carbon shield paint on a tailpiece.

Remember ERS construction is based on nickel plated fibers laid down on a carbon fiber cloth. The CF has high enough resistance to dissipate most RFI. It is not really designed for magnetic suppression. It is possible to ground ERS by simply sewing a copper wire through the material, BTW.
Check out the lessemf website: some pretty crazy stuff ( clothing for RFI absorption?). But they do have some interesting recommendations, tools and materials for reasonable prices and in small lots too, ideal for experimentation.
Remember with the mu metal and such, you can conduct the magnetic field, that is you can move the field, in the direction of the plane much faster in shunting off the field. Most of the devices like the one you refer to, are built to mess up the field so that it doesn't reach the object shielded.
I find it better to direct the fields, rather than trying to dam it.
The tailpieces are a good example. Around a wire, the EMF field generated is circular and is 90 degrees to the wire, so the tailpiece is actually accelerating the EMF generated by the wire
You're right I thougt I had to absorb the field not to direct and accelerate it
By the way it could explain why the boss of ers told me that "too much ers will close down the soundstage" an that
"conductor space is very important"
