Well did you see Bybee power cables where fited with carbon fiber ac plugs?
Some people told me that the carbon fiber enveloppe realy increased the sound quality and the charcoal tweak is very good when you stick a charcoal piece on shuko or iec...But not waf att all... So I was thinking adding carbon fiber tissue or charcoal powder around or in the tailpiece...
In some case your tweak could be more waf if added inside the audio gear just after the iec inlet or inside the wall receptacle.
Follow Ups:
In the old days I experimented with several types and combinations of DIY covers for my AC plugs:
1) carbon fiber cloth
2) copper and aluminum sleeves
3) flexible matrix of tourmaline, quartz and carborundum
4) various combinations of the above
5) placement of treated piezoelectric crystals inside the plug body and immediately behind the plug body along the cord.
CF worked fine. Copper had some minor effect; can't say same for aluminum. The flexible matrix had some effect. Crystals had good effect. Combinations of CF, that flexible matrix and copper with the crystals as placed had the most effect overall.
Did this radically change my sound? No. Did it do at least detectable and appreciable change? Yes. YMMV of course.
You can theorize all you want, but my theory was both RFI control and vibration control.
Somewhere years ago I posted about these and at least some of my posts include pix of a construction of a power cord using these methods. Anyone wanting to view it can do the search themselves.
Yep, I remember when you posted your pics of your power strip with the crystals placed at a numbers of areas, + a few other tweaks.
Good info for someone looking to build a great power strip.
Hi benie,
Do you have the link to see the power strip pics?

Here's one post that refers to some old pix. You'll have to do the search yourself:
