Hi,Does somebody tried a tweak like this?
Edits: 04/01/15Follow Ups:
I can add that an another french brand must be added to this tweak because
Yba wasn't alone there was Vecteur too which used led light at this place but this time there was a green one.
By the way, a french tweaker told me he tried a lot of led and found that brighter was better and that the better color was.....white!!!
First appeared on Philips/magnavox players in the late 80's. Like coloring CD's. the light must be a complementary to the laser wavelength. Early CD lasers were IR and it was calculated the green would work best.
Modern players with blue ray capacity employ two lasers One blue light and one IR so you need two Leds. or have to compromise
Simply physics used to make a LED kit for CD units, but they probably discontinued it long ago
Hi,
Sympli physics web site is on work...
My cdp is ancient enough and doesn't have twice beam. I'll think about stiking white one next to the laser...
