Look at the old thread about damping the cD tray. I have a reply title some photos: it shows your laser mechanism.
There are four coils and be very, very careful. You will inevitably spill a bit of ferro fluid between the magnet and the keeper and and the coils. You don't want the excess fluid as the moving assembly can splash some the fluid, and it can trash the servos
Keep a piece of tissue handy and you can wick up the spillage easily. Stick a corner between the magnets and the coils and you will see the fluid wick up instantly.
Remember to place as equal amounts in each coil as you can. You don't need to be precise, but if it does not work try adding a bit more. You want to saturate the motor coil assemblies. Unbalanced amounts will skew the laser movement throwing off the focus.
Work carefully and slowly !!!

Hi Unclestu,
I've found the thread where you post the pictures but you show only 2 coils not 4.
I put red color on the coil I found: where are the orher ones?
Ah must be my mistake < only two coils
Ok thanks,
As soon I receive the ferrofluid I test it!
