Hi Duster. Thanks to you I learned about the pig tail trick.
As the pic shows I have diy footers of cork and neoprene laminate. Bamboo cutting board with felt pads and
the common particle board? shelving.
What would you suggest as an improvement?

Follow Ups:
For use with the laminated bamboo board, I suggest you replace the set of four cork/neoprene pads with Herbie's Audio Lab Tenderfoot feet, or experiment with a less expensive set of four AcoustiFeet soft silicone vibration control feet.
Find out the weight of the Sony unit, and choose the AcoustiFeet model that's intended for the particular weight level.
You might also choose to buy one or more higher weight level AcoustiFeet models in order to experiment with them for system tuning purposes, since all of the AcoustiFeet models will sound different when placed under the Sony unit.

Hi Duster, I have been experimenting with the AcoustiFeet soft silicone vibration control feet you suggested. I also rediscovered the various Vibrapods I had and tried those (#2) under the Sony (transport) and also the Herbie's Audio Lab Tenderfoot feet that have been serving under the NAD integrated amp.
I settled on the Vibrapods under the Sony and the Herbie's Audio Lab Tenderfoot feet to remain under the NAD and the AcoustiFeet soft silicone vibration control feet under the Grant tube buffer and DAC. Subject to change of course.
Thanks again for your generous help,

Thanks Duster, I'll try the AcoustiFeet first and hear what happens.
By the way do you know of another source of cryoed IEC pig tail adaptors other than Take Five?
Dedicated Audio sells the cryo'd Schurter cord-mount IEC jack.

Thank you sir.
