cool site, what I like about it is that it ells you how the magnets are polarized: very important for me.
Now to scrape out another 10 hours a week for experimentation.....

Haven't played with magnets on BD stuff but have on other stuff. On MSA Kegs I like to sandwich the kegs with two copper sh=foil sheets on a MU metal foil disc.
This, placed on B+ leads from a power transformer, before the diode bridge) is one of the greatest and most cost effective tweaks I have employed. S/N floor drops dramatically giving a huge dynamics and fine detail.
I 've also employed the kegs on AC lines of my PLCS to similar effect and IMHE it pretty much blows away ALL the major contenders. I use the older Vans Evers and Tice units as my base, but believe me I have ried many others. Of course adding them on to the other PLC provides similar improvements but perhaps are quie so cost effective (I'm a cheapskate).
One of the craziest implementation of magnets is on the legs of metal equipment racks. Important caveat: do NOT do this on a rack holding a TT. The magnetic field induced will affect the cartridge and very negatively.
I use a ladder styled rack, custom built to hold my components and digital gear. I place a magnet, and even an el cheapo refrigerator magnet will work, on all the cross pieces of the rack.
Better detail and dynamics are the result. I've been too lazy to pull my gaussmeter to measure, but I believe the power transformers on your components are entering the metal ( usually ferrous) legs of the rack(note I haven't used an aluminum model). They are inducing a current which will permeate and rotate within the legs, particularly if all are interlocked. I believe the magnets limit the extent of their inductance, ad certainly I gain performance by placing magnets closer to the corner wher the power transformers are located.
