The same thing goes for the screws holding your CD player's transport to the
bottom of the player
If you've had your player for any amt. of time & never considered checking
to see if you can feel any "movement" to any of these screws there's a distinct possibility 1 or more of them could use tightening.

Wow, never thought of that. Not sure I want to open up my Marantz Sa 11s2 and fuss with the innards, however.
Before you open up the player check it's bottom for the screw heads that are securing the transport to the case there.
I was able to tighten the hex head bolts w/ the appropriate hex wrench w/o
having to open the player at all. These screwheads will be locatable a few
inches back from where the tray comes out of the player
If for some reason you can only access these screws from the inside ,I can't imagine you would have to do anything other than locate them & tighten them down.
