Hello,
I am restoring an old Scott 299 as well as a Valco guitar amp. I have restored a Scott a bunch of years a go and got custom caps(Common positive) ones from Zach at Vibroworld. I can't seem to get in contact with him. The website is down and he doesn't seem active on his Facebook page.
In addition for my Valco amp I need an Mallory FP style 10, 10 10 500V cap. I can't sen to find one that will fit. I bought a CDE 20, 10, 10 but its larger in diameter and will require modifying the chassis which I would rather not do. Any info on Zach or any suggested alternatives?

Zack Electronics has vanished. You can rebuild yourself or use Tubes and More as suggested. Otherwise you can tack in axials or radials below deck and leave the cans in place for show.
Good Luck.
Standard can size is 1-3/8"

There's always this. (link below)
Not as easy as buying off the shelf, but sometimes there's just no other choice. Especially when trying to preserve a stock appearance.
I was going to search for that, thanks for doing it for me!

That post is one I've searched for several times when the topic of can caps comes up, and I've always had difficulty finding it. I finally stuck it into my Asylum favorites folder.
I now have an Asylum favorites folder too!
