I made no comparisons but since my speaker wire has spades as do my filters (I prefer spades to banana for tighter fit) I used some bananas I had for the ground tweak which made it MUCH easier to implement. I thought geez this can't help or do anything but it's easy so I will do it. Wrong! It's a great tweak.

@Awe-d-o-file. Or...function of speaker filters only affects in cleaning up higher frequencies?
@awe-d-o-file. Sorry to trouble you again...I have another question. My speakers are similar to the wilson watt/puppies...ie...2 module system....tweeter/mid and a separate bass module. I am bi-wiring currently. From amp to bass module and to mid. From mids...using jumpers to tweeter. Can I get away with using just one set of speaker filters...ie....connected to tweeters. Mids and woofers will have ground control tweak to neg- terminals. Was wondering how the speaker filters, if connected to the tweeters, were going to affect the woofers when it's in a separate module altogether. Hope I am making sense to you...:S
Thank you so much.
