Alan,
That's a job for a professional reviewer and not me.

Alan,
By accessing the Unix engine directly and eliminating the need for the iTunes player to be loaded, Damien Plisson of Audirvana Plus 2.0 has liberated his program's performance from the complexity and degradation of working through Apple's system and application software that continues to limit competitive products. The resulting improvement in dynamics is remarkable and A.P. retains the same good, neutral musical-tone, rock-solid dependability, straight-forward interface and the full range of features (except the ability to process and play Internet radio stations offered by Pure Music's plug-in).
To my ear and eye, Audirvana Plus 2.0 is therefore the standout winner at this time and my clear choice.
