I needed a plug in speaker for my motherboard (boot up bleeper). In UK on eBay, they want anything between £3-6 and postage £1.99.
So I went to Amazon and found a Chinese seller offering 10 for £1.99 including postage.
Guess where I bought them from? It took about 10 days instead of 3-5 but I shall never need to buy another one!

You would think someone was paying the seller to get rid of he things!
If I try to buy from the US, I am often deterred by postage costs. When I buy in UK or western EU, postage is reasonable. Wen I buy from eBayUK or AmazonUK items delivered from China, postage for small items is often free, and the items are really cheap. They even arrive quite fast and sometimes with Royal Mail stamps on the envelope, but the origin seems to be southern China!
I don't think Chinese companies sell at a loss. It must be volume?
