can you please show me a review on an Oyaide product? All I can find is advertisements from sellers. I still wonder how a metal can "flavor" audio signals. I can see how a shielded conductor could help though...
Follow Ups:
Every conductor, in fact just about every material including dielectric materials chosen for an audiophile design presents an identifiable sonic signature, including those involved in an Audio Grade AC outlet design.
Many design/material factors provoke sonic signatures (unique impressions) of which audiophiles tend to seek, often providing subjectively improved perceptions of audiophile listening cues such as general tonality, openness, coherence, clarity, neutrality, soundstage/imaging spatial cues, ambient information retrieval, extended frequency extremes, bass articulation, pitch delineation, midrange presence, macro and micro dynamics, the musical/physical attributes of PRAT, inner detail and air, transparency, with a lowered noise floor perhaps being most important to get right/do no harm.
True to the source timbrel information accuracy is the audiophile Holy Grail, while providing plenty of natural sounding PRAT/boogie factor.
YMMV
Do you believe all those things? Why do electronic manufacturers not know this?

I have direct experience of such things. As for electronic manufacturers such as Radio Shack if that's what you mean, proper audiophile manufacturers have been producing such things for many years now. You need to research the subject before becoming reactionary towards the topic.
Here's a basic overview (not a proper review) if that's all you seek:
I just never heard this from a component manufacturer. It should be easy then to show me what you mean...
When it comes to aftermarket products, audio component manufacturer PR tends to be as enthusiastic as automotive manufacturers are.
That said, there are multitudes of audio component manufacturers who avidly own audiophile AC outlets for their own use. It's not a remarkable thing during recent years.
