You're 100% wrong.
Home inspector is looking for issues with a house; roof/basement leaking, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural issues, fire/safety. In no way shape or form is he/she going to differentiate between a real Oyaide outlet and a fake. 99.999% are not going to have a clue what a Oyaide outlet is unless he or she is really into HiFi. Unless it is wired incorrectly they aren't going to give it a second glance and even at that it would be just to correct the wiring.
As for the OP this might be an example of a fake. I've never seen this color combination

Actually, that is an official color combination, just not commonly sold.

I had never heard of an Oyaide receptacle. Do they look different in any way? Thanks for the info..
In wall, not really...
A purple with black face Oyaide SWO-XXX AC outlet comes with the Oyaide WPC-Z aluminum wall bracket when purchased as a set (model WPC-XXX).
Other than the black face, it's the same AC outlet design as the all purple SWO-XXX.
See link:
I don't know what it sounds like but it sure looks good!
Dave
Sounds as good as it looks.
