Cryo places that charged by the cable or per item. A suitable process for cables for instance should allow for a client to send a box of cables. The Cryo lab shouldn't even need to open it or open it and verify the contents and leave it in the box during Cryo. That's how Lee did it for me. I payed a flat rate for a box no bigger than a certain size and less than a certain weight. I got many many things done for $75. Based on what some of these "each" prices charge it would have cost me over $400.

Hi !!
I agree with you about per-item charging.
Is Cryo Labs and Lee still open for business?
If so, what would be the contact information today - in 2014 ??

Sadly Lee passed away a few years ago. There is another few places that go by the pound. Geoff Kait knows who I think.

Yes, Lee of Cryo-Parts passed away in I think Aug of 2011.
A few week ago, I happened upon their URL and it looks like they are back in biz with Locus or Lotus (friends of Lee's) taking over.
Based on a few performance comparisons I suspect Lee was using the full-immersion method.

Stehno....based on direct discussion with Lee a few years ago, I believe he was using a variation of vapor injection, in addition to creating his own extended treatment profile(s). He never would confirm the depth of temperature.
Vapor injection would not have gone below -300F, which is a vast difference from the -320F achievable with full immersion (a la Jena Labs), and other "soak" processes reaching -320F (such as Cryogenics International). That lower temperature is what is (in industry terms), considered "deep treatment".
While the above is picking some nits, there is no question that Lee's process improved the sonics of the materials and products he treated.
Wow, i thank all of you for the great information.
Wherever you go there you are.
