Hi and thanks again
Now i understand it is not for me. I would like to separate source and preamp grounds, like for instance a coupling transformer does.
Unfortunately i have not a scope to see the quality of noise coming from the source but i think it is ground related.
But i have decided to do differently
I will get galvanic separation by means of an optical cable between the source and the dac.
I want to get rid of noise ... perfect silent and the music above.
Thanks again.
Kind regards,
bg
Follow Ups:
Do not ground source and use one point grounding at the last destination
Hi and thanks again for the very kind and valuable advice.
It has helped me to understand that i should not go this way.
I will use a toslink connection to achieve galvanic separation of the source. I will loose maybe somtething with an optical cable, but i need to isolate.
Thanks again.
Kind regards,
bg
