I've always plugged my amps into the wall (with other components - DAC, Source, etc. plugged into Balanced Power/Conditioner). I recently picked up a pair of Bel Canto REF500M Class D Monos. Should I treat these as a digital component, plugging them into my conditioner, or stil go straight to the wall?

As I am contemplating a Class D as the "next big thing" for my rig, I've been watching this thread with some interest.
Still haven't bit the bullet on this yet- weighing the options between Hypex, International Rectifier (as a complete DIY), Parts Express and Classdaudio.com (as kits). Obviously, I'm not planning/willing to spend the amount the Bel Cantos cost. An interesting thread nonetheless!

... I discovered what excellent passive conditioning, in my case Acoustic Revive RTP-2 Ultimate, can do. There's no going back.I bought mine for $700 as like-new demo - worth every penny, in my opinion.
PS: My current amp is not Class D (high-bias AB, actually).

it isn't a balanced power conditioner. It's an excellent power strip made specifically to deal with vibration and has crystals and carborundum inside it. From their site:
"RTP-2, 4 and 6 ultimate`s box is filled with Green carborundum, Tourmaline powder and natural quartz powder to eliminate noise and static electricity without no contact and non-magnetism."

Your comment, on the other hand, doesn't deliver anything useful to speak of - and betrays obvious lack of experience. Why don't you humor us - which particular Acoustic Revive product do you have first-hand experience with?

First, I did not realize the company was Japanese. If I had, I would not have been critical of their grammar. I apologize for that.
Second, my comment was about their "science", which was an oblique reference to how they say their products work, not how the products sound or change the sound. It is entirely possible that their products are beneficial, and I did not say they weren't.
Perfecto!
I'm in agreement with Jack G.

I've always plugged my class D amp into my regenerator. I think they all sound significantly better that way. They seem to thrive on clean power.
