I have found strangely enough a box of Kosher salt on top of each of my electrostats to sound excellent? And upon further experimentation Monosodium glutamate (MSG) produces an effect that is although quite subtle more ostensible. So then naturally I played around until discovering sugar, this eventually led to me utilizing it in a small sterling silver sugar bowl, this was by far the most remarkable, I'm guessing that maybe the combined effect of the sugar crystals were somehow "harmonizing" alongside the "contact" edges inside the bowl?
I also have several brown sugar cubes placed strategically on top of my front end, I know how crazy this all sounds.
This weekend I'm going to buy another box of "brown" sugar cubes and try them out as cable lifters.

Should attract a lot of roaches, if nothing else. Thanks for sharing.
If colored wire insulation can change the sound or the color of a felt marker on the edge of a CD, the color of sugar crystals might produce similar results, they have an equal chance of making a difference ........
The bong beckons...
Well pass it back to me then 'G'.Now I know how you come up with your ideas, and these days it's legal. :^)

Rock candy sugar crystals should do the trick, making the system sound sweet and satisfying ........ And an endless choice of colors depending on your mood...........
